Thank you for the many hours of great music by you and your band members at the Mystery Dog Ranch, American Legion, Battlefield Post Number 214, "Christmas for the Vets" fundraiser on December 6th, for the patients at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro , TN. Your generous participation at the Ranch is greatly appreciated and made Christmas special to all the Veterans at the VA Medical Center. I hope that you or any of your members didn't suffer frostbite. You're all Troopers!

The Christmas Dinner Celebration for the Veterans at the VA Medical Center on December 19 was a resounding success because of your generosity and commitment to care for Veterans. Battlefield Post 214 of Fort Oglethorpe was joined by representatives from American Legion, Chickamauga Post 217, American Legion, Fred A. Morgan Post 106 of Trenton, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Chickamauga Post 3679, Boy Scout Troop 64 of Chickamauga, and the many participants who gave of their time, energy, and talents. We fed approximately 300 Veterans, the turkeys, hams, and all the fixins' were delicious and the servers had to scrape the pans at the end, but all were fed. Compliments came from everyone and we returned home knowing, " Mission Accomplished." We could not have done this project without your support.
